Description
This section of the National Center’s website gives an overview of the Early Intervention IDEA program and the impact of the medical home on development outcomes for disabled children and those “at risk” for disabilities. Parents will find forms and sample letters for evaluations and referrals, developmental screening tools, and links to additional information on IDEA from government agencies and the American Academy of Pediatrics. The website’s “tools and resources” page includes separate sections specifically for communities, families, health-care providers, and state agencies.
